What is OPI Living?

OPI Young Adultswww.OPILiving.com

The Optimum Performance Institute (OPI) is the main program in our OPI Living Programs. Others are the Roanne Program and our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). OPI is a highly-individualized therapeutic, educational and residential program helping young adults, aged 17 -28, achieve independence and reach goals in education, job skills, and have improved social interactions. OPI’s coed program in Woodland Hills, CA helps participants understand and resolve issues that have kept them from moving forward in their lives.

The Optimum Performance Institute is accredited by the National Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations because of the quality of its care and programs.

Participants at OPI struggle with a range of diagnoses including:

  • Asperger’s Syndrome
  • Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) / Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHAD)
  • Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Depression
  • Failure to Launch
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

OPI offers a multi-phase model based on developmental milestones. As participants reach different milestones they move through our phases to achieve higher levels of independence and privileges.

Structure decreases as they gain the ability to make wise decisions, develop self reliance, achieve life skills and learn the value of compassion, tolerance and perseverance while reaching their goals.

Our Goal is to help young adults realize their full potential. We do this by helping them understand and cope with issues that may have been holding them back in the past, while they simultaneously begin moving forward toward goals they, themselves, set while they are here.
